Distribution of humanitarian assistance in Kladovo and Negotin

The League of the Romanian-Serbian Friendship from Bucharest in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees delivered humanitarian assistance amounting to EUR 6, 400 to refugee and ID children in Serbia.

 

In total 108 children from the collective centersKaratasin Kladovo and theIneksKrajina Hotelin Negotin got a pair of sneakers, EUR 60 each. Thus, their life in poor conditions they share with their families far from their homes was alleviated to some extent.

 

The delegation of the League of the Romanian-Serbian Friendship was led by Mr. Dragan Krstic the vice-president, Marijan Klecuthe secretary of the League and Mr. Milan Petrovic the member of the Executive Board of the League. They delivered the assistance collected within the humanitarian action organized in Bucharest on 4 December, 2007.

 

The delegation of the League and the Commissariat for Refugees was received in Kladovo and Negotin by the representatives of these municipalities. On that occasion they expressed gratitude for such a nice and humane gesture that made these children in the collective center very happy.

 

"We thank the Commissariat for Refugees for realizing our wish to help the children in the best possible way. We hope that similar actions will be organized in the future as well”, the vice-president of League, Mr. Krstic, said on that occasion and thanked for the warm welcome by the representatives of municipalities.
