Tender for the future beneficiaries of aid in the form of building materials was announced in the town of Kragujevac
Announcement of tender 10th of June 2010

An association of Belgrade, Group 484 in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia and the City of Kragujevac are undertaking the Project "Improvement of social and economic integration of refugees and internally displaced persons." This project is being funded by the European Union through the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Serbia from the resources of the IPA 2008. The goal of the stated Project is that in conjunction with the established national strategy for the resolution of questions concerning refugees and internally displaced persons, it contribute to the efforts already made on behalf of the government of the Republic of Serbia and the Commissariat for Refugees, thereby helping to improve living conditions and solve the housing concerns of this category of persons. 

In Kragujevac the aim will be the realisation of aid in the form of building materials designated for the completion of buildings already in progress as well as for the adaptation of old buildings in order to provide for the accommodation of refugee and displaced families.  On the 15th of June 2010, the tender for future recipients of aid in the form of building materials will formally be opened.  The ceremony will be held on the 15th of June at 10:30 inside the conference hall of the City hall of Kragujevac, Trg Slobode no. 3.  The relevant application questionnaires can be retrieved by the appropriate parties at the ceremony itself, or alternatively directly from the website of the Group 484 or from official trustee for refugees of the city of  Kragujevac.

The total value of these activities will amount to 6 million dinars. The Tender Commission will award 20 grants of building materials worth about 300,000.00 dinars.

The beneficiaries will be chosen on the bases of predetermined criteria established by the Commission which will in turn be composed of representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees, the City of Kragujevac, UNHCR and the Group 484. Those selected will in conjunction with the Group 484 negotiate contracts determining and stipulating the use of the building materials awarded.
