On the 1st and 2nd of June 2010, within the premises of INTERSOS in Belgrade a Commission for the awarding of building materials to refugees and internally displaced persons for the purpose of  assisting in the completion of unfinished buildings was held.  In attendance were the representatives of INTERSOS, UNHCR, the Commissariat for Refugees as well as representatives of the Ana and Vlade Divac Fund. 

The funds for the aforementioned project are provided by the IPA 2007 of the European Union and through the European Commission Delegation to Serbia, will come to be implemented by INTERSOS.

Based on the requests received and the committees submitted field reports, from a total of 35 examined claims the Commission has approved 30 packages of building assistance in the form of materials to complete the construction started at the facility. The Commission has denied 3 requests, and the remaining two requests depending upon the recommendation of the Commission, should be granted from the remaining funds following the fulfilment of the tender process.
