Concerning the project, “Support for the Commissariat for Refugees intended for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons through the support of local action plans,” financed on behalf of the UNHCR and being implemented through the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with municipalities and cities, the first sessions of the Commission for the selection of the final recipients were held in Valjevo at which were adopted regulations relating to the qualifications and criteria governing the allocation of aid.  The allocated aid is comprised of the acquisition and donation of rural houses, the economic strengthening of families and the notification of the recipients through the placement of advertisements.
