Friday, the 2nd of July 2010 - on the premises of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) was held the first session of the Commission for the selection of the recipients of prefabricated housing units on the territory of the city of Čačak. The Commission comprised of representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees, the Danish Refugee Council and the UNHCR, has on the basis of predefined conditions and criteria concerning the assessment of vulnerability chosen 2 families of refugees and 4 families of internally displaced persons who are to recieve the prefabricated housing units.  The donation of the prefabricated housing units in the city of Čačak represents one of the components of the project, “Support for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons in Serbia, ” being funanced by the E.U. through their Delegation in the Republic of Serbia.
