A formal announcement soliciting financing for the projects and proposals put forth by the Association of Refugees from the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Association of Internally Displaced Persons from Kosovo and Metohija

On the basis of Article 7 Law on Refugees (Official Gazette RS, no. 18/92 and 45/02), Article 7 of the Budget Law of the Republic of Serbia for 2010. (Official Gazette RS no. 107/09), Division 49, economic classification 481, the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia is announcing a TENDER call for funding of projects and proposals put forth by the Association of Refugees from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Association of Internally Displaced Persons from Kosovo and Metohija.

The Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia has set aside 2,000,000 dinars from the budgetary resources of the Republic of Serbia in order to support the work undertaken by the Associations of Internally Displaced Persons in the later part of 2010.  The allocated capital is limitted to a minimum of 25,000 dinars and a maximum of 250,000 dinars dependant on the actual circumstances of those submitting requests. 

The requests for funding and the associated, relevant documentation should be presented to the Commission for the Selection of Projects and Proposals of the Commissariat for Refugees.

The deadline for the submission of requests is the 1st of September 2010.

The requests aught to be submitted to the Commissariat for Refugees either in person, or else by means of conventional post.  The Commissariat is open on weekdays from 8:30 until 16:30.

  • Necessary Documentation:
  • Completed funding request form;
  • A decision demonstrating the registration of the association;
  • Certificate justifing previously allocated funds, issued by the Financial Services of the Commissariat for Refugees (for associations supported through budget funds in 2009)
  • Project proposal;
  • A proposed, itemized project budget;

Incomplete requests, requests not presented within the allocated time period, as well as requests submitted by associations which have not completed a fnancial justification of the resources granted them in 2009 will be excluded from consideration. We stress that the Comission will not take into consideration any projects or proposals which are themselves based on the financing of the opperating costs of associations, cultural, artistic or sporting manifestations, as well as projects submitted by associations funded through the budgetary resources allocated in the first part of 2010. Projects and proposals falling under this category will be disqualified from consideration by the Commission.

Following the expiry of the deadline for the submission of requests, the Commission for the selection of projects and proposals submitted by the Associations of Refugees from the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Association of Internally Displaced Persons from Kosovo and Metohija, shall consider the submitted requests and determine a list of priority for the allocation of funding.

All those participating in the official tender shall be notified in writing as to the decisions taken by the Commission.
