On Tuesday the 10th of August 2010, on the premises of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in the municipality of Titel, a meeting of the Commission for the selection of the recipients of aid in the form of packages of building materials was held.

The Commission, comprising of representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees, the Danish Refugee Council and the UNHCR, on the basis of predefined conditions and criteria pertaining to the establishment of the levels of vulnerability experienced in individual cases, selected 8 refugee families and 1 family of internally displaced persons to whom the aforementioned form of assistance is to be allocated. 

The program of donating packages of building materials intended for the completion of works already in progress or else for the adaptation of inadequate living facilities in the municipality of Titel, represents one of the components of the project, “Support for refugees and Internally Displaced persons in Serbia,” financed on behalf of the EU through the delegation of the EU to the Republic of Serbia and being implemented by the Danish Refugee Council.
