Thursday 11th of November 2010 – In the Multimedia Centre of the City Directorate of the city of Zrenjanin, the major, Mr. Mileta Mihajlov signed an agreement pertaining to the allocation of packages intended for the purpose of promoting self sufficiency and economically strengthening the families of refugee and internally displaced persons. A total of 14 families are to receive the aforementioned packages, of which 12 are refugee families and the remaining two are internally displaced families. 

Resources which amount to a total of 1,500,000.00 dinars intended for the purpose of providing this assistance have been made available by the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia, while the number of refugee/displaced families which have applied for this form of assistance numbers 56.

Those selected to receive this form of assistance have been presented grants designed to stimulate agricultural production, establish a viable business model or else provide for operating expenditure in the aim of developing their already established businesses.
