The project in question is being financed through the resources made available by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and is being implemented through the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia.
The project is valued at 4,900,000.00 dinars, of which 4,655,000.00 dinars have been provided by the UNHCR, the city of Zrenjanin having contributed the remaining 245,000.00 dinars. Using the aforementioned funds, households in Ečka, Elemir, Jankov Most, Orlovat, Perlez and Zrenjanin have been purchased, thereby providing accommodation for 7 refugee families.
All 7 of the aforementioned families will receive a household as well as a grant – a package of aid valued at some 80,000.00 dinars intended to be used by the beneficiaries for the purchase of building materials and other necessities they might require prior to their assumption of their newly bestowed accommodations.
