Wednesday the 15th of December 2010 – On the premises of the Municipality of Pećinci, a Memorandum of Understanding was ceremonially signed in relation to the donation of  5
prefabricated housing units ranging in size between 30 to 40 meters squared and intended for use by the families of the most vulnerable categories of refugee and internally displaced persons.

The donation of the prefabricated housing units within the Municipality of Pećinci represents one of the components of the Project, “Support to Refugee and Internally Displaced Persons in Serbia,” which is being financed through the IPA 2008 funds and is being implemented by the International Organization for Migration in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia. The project itself has a total value of 4.2 million euros, while the component in question has set aside 75,000 euros for the purpose of donating the prefabricated housing units within the municipality of Pećinci.
