The recipients of 4 prefabricated houses and 7 packages of building materials have been selected

17th December 2010 – On the premises of the head office of the Danish Refugee Council in the city of Belgrade, a session of the commission charged with the duty of distributing packages of building materials as well as a session of the commission for the selection of the beneficiaries of prefabricated houses on the territory of the city of Pančevo were held. The resources set aside for the completion of these components of the Project, “Support to Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons in Serbia,” were made available through IPA funds.

The Commissariat for Refugees is to be the utilizing institution of the aforementioned project while the components in question have been implemented through the efforts of the Danish Refugee Council.

The members of the commission for the selection of the beneficiaries of aid which is to be distributed in the form of packages of building materials, selected 7 families who are to receive this assistance after first having complied with all the requisite procedures envisioned by the rule book designed in order to offer a framework by means of which the selection process is to be conducted. Similarly, the members of the commission for the selection of the recipients of the prefabricated houses, adhering to the same set of guidelines, selected 4 families who are to be the beneficiaries of the aforementioned housing units.
