Tuesday, June 7, 2011 – The fifth two-day’s meeting with the municipal/ city trustees was organized by the Commissariat for refugees of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the Danish Refugee Council at the hotel Omorika, at Tara. The meeting was organized under the patronage of Dr. Jovan Krkobabic, the Vice Prime Minister of Serbia in charge of social affairs, within the free legal aid project for the refugees and internally displaced persons, which is financed by the EU fund and implemented by the Danish Refugee Council.

During the meeting, activities and further plans regarding resolving issues of the refugees and internally displaced persons, admittance and reintegration of the returnees on the basis of the Readmission Agreement and accommodation of potential asylum seekers were considered. 

The representatives of the expert working groups in charge of resolving issues of the refugees in the region of the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia used this opportunity to inform all those that are interested, on the activities and progress of the Regional Project that will be presented at the forthcoming donors conference.
