The government of the Republic of Serbia brought Decision 05 number: 02-3732/2011 on establishing another Asylum Center, a Red Cross facility in Bogovadja, Bogovadja Street, for providing accommodation and basic living conditions for asylum seekers until a final decision on the application for asylum is brought.

 

The Asylum Centre is a part of the Commissariat for Refugees which is a separate organizational unit. The Centre is managed by a civil servant who manages the Commissariat for Refugees as well.

 
The official date of the opening of the center is June 20, 2011.

 

In this way, all the asylum seekers in need of assistance will be accommodated at the Asylum Centre in Bogovadja.
