The Easter celebration at the White Palace, which has already become a tradition, was held for more than 1.000 children amongst whose number were refugees and internally displaced persons residing within the Municipality of Palilula, children without parental guardians, children with disabilities and children from Roma families.

    

As per the usual custom, the Celebration was hosted by their Royal Highnesses Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine and was attended by the Episcope of Remazijana Andrej, gift donors and other guests.  After the ceremony, opened by the children’s’ choir of the Diocese of Sabac "Saint John the Theologian,” who performed the anthem, "God of Justice," and numerous songs relevant to the Easter celebrations, the children enjoyed looking for Easter eggs hidden in the park of the White Palace, all of which was followed by the taking photographs with the royal family and the sharing of presents which included candies and toys.
