On the 1st November 2012, in the territory of the Republic of Serbia there are 33 collective centers which accommodate 2.697 individuals. Of these 33 collective centers, 20 are in the Republic of Serbia excluding Kosovo and Metohija and accommodate 2.173 individuals and 13 are in the territory of the Kosovo and Metohija which accommodate 524 individuals.

8 collective centres were closed in 2012: C.C. "7. juli" in Zemun, C.C. "MDEKS" in Kragujevac, C.C. "Predrag Devedžić", C.C. "Moštanica" and C.C. "Vrtogoš" in Vranje, C.C. "Motel Kamping" in Bujanovac, C.C. "Hotel Ineks Krajina" in Negotin and C.C. "Čardak - Deliblato" in Kovin.

The closure of 4 collective centers is in progress: C.C. "Žiča" in Kraljevo, C.C. "Stara ciglana" in Vlasotince, C.C. "Gazivoda" in Zubin Potok and C.C. "Zgrada pošte" in Sočanica – Leposavić.
