Paris, 11 October, 2013 – On 11 October 2013, the RHP Assembly of Donors approved the 2nd wave of sub-projects consisting of six new projects to be financed from the RHP Fund. With the projects submitted in the 1st wave, the total number of the approved projects is now ten. The grant amount approved for these projects amounts in total to EUR 46 million.
The projects approved consist of reconstruction of pre-war homes in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 780 families; construction of a home for the elderly and two apartment buildings for 40 families in Croatia; construction of a home for the elderly and two apartment buildings for 42 families in Montenegro; and construction of apartments and pre-fabricated houses as well as purchasing of village houses and provision of building material for 850 families in Serbia.
While the Partner Countries are now concentrating their efforts on the
implementation of already approved projects, the RHP Assembly of Donors will
meet yet another time in December 2013, to decide on a 3rd wave of
sub-projects.
