The eighth annual meeting of the trustees of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia was held on Divčibare from 15 to 17 December 2013 in cooperation with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

In the presence of the representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, the trustees from central Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija, representatives of state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, international and non-governmental organizations, there was held a three-day meeting with the aim to summarize work results during 2013 and to announce activities for the coming year.

 

 

An important part of the meeting was the introduction of new trustees to the activities of the Commissariat. Among other things, results achieved so far regarding the implementation of the Regional Housing Project were presented, as well as the migration profile of the Republic of Serbia for 2012. Also, the topics were due but unpaid pension from the Republic of Croatia, local action planning, as well as the condition and needs of the internally displaced persons and returnees under the readmission agreement.
