On Thursday 26 December a New Year celebration for children and adult members of the Centre for asylum in Bogovadja was organized. The children received New Year gifts, and together with the others enjoyed the music program and lunch. Owing to the SDC project - Support to the National Coordination for Reintegration of Returnees-phase II, New Year gifts were given to the children in the asylum centers in Banja Koviljača and Obrenovac.

Representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations visited yesterday Asylum Center in Bogovadja together with members of several non-governmental organizations, with the aim that asylum seekers who are thousands of miles away from their homes, can feel the atmosphere of Christmas and New Year holidays.

 

 

To be so indeed, members of multimedia art group from Belgrade "Škart" and organization "Cirkusfera", performed interactive type of a dance-music program. Besides the artists, the Center users have the opportunity to show their talents as well.

They danced, sang, beat the drums and read the poetry in Arabic and French. The program lasted until early evening.
