Adrian Maître, Deputy Director of the Department for Cooperation with Eastern Europe, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), visited today Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations.

Meeting held in the Commissariat is part of a week-long visit to Serbia, which aims to present a new strategy for cooperation with Serbia for the period of 2014 - 2017.

Partnership in the field of migration plays a significant role in the new strategy, given the very significant long-term and successful cooperation between the two countries. New cooperation framework puts a special focus on establishing links between migration and development.

Representatives of the Commissariat informed Adrian Maître about current issues in the field of migrations in Serbia, especially when it comes to asylum policy and Regional housing program that is in progress.
