Last week on 17 April 2014 Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations of the Republic of Serbia organized a creative workshop at the Asylum center in Obrenovac.

This was one of the activities organized by the Commissariat in order to improve the quality and variety of services for asylum seekers and persons who have been granted some form of protection in the Republic of Serbia.

The workshop was conceived as a process of artistic expression of feelings of individuals, but it implied teamwork in order to exchange cultures and opinions.

 

 

More than 30 asylum seekers accommodated in the Asylum center in Obrenovac participated in this workshop. They painted wooden pendants and painted on canvas.

The workshop was organized within the project "Support to the national strategy for the reintegration of returnees, Phase II", funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
