Representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia held five two-day meetings with representatives of local government units. Municipal presidents, trustees, presidents of the councils for migrations, as well as representatives of UNHCR, OSCE and the PIU, and representatives of the City of Belgrade Secretariat for Social Welfare, were invited and participated in these meetings.

 

Meetings and trainings were held in September and October in Belgrade, Divčibare, Donji Milanovac, Sjenica and Sremski Karlovci.

During the first day there was a discussion on the coordination and review of local action plans, earmarking and accounting of budgetary funds already approved by previous calls for proposals, whilst the second day was devoted to Regional Housing Program, specifically the procedures for the selection of beneficiaries.
