Commissariat for Refugees and Migration participated from 8 to 10 April 2015 at an international conference with the theme "Responses and alternatives to growing migratory pressure in Europe with emphasis on the potential of social integration of specific groups of migrants".

The conference was organized by the Hungarian Office of Immigration and Nationality, to exchange knowledge and experience between participating countries, as well as the exchange of information and best practices.

Apart from representatives of the Republic of Serbia, participants of the meeting were the delegations of Germany, Bulgaria, Sweden, the European Commission, UNHCR, EASO, FRONTEX.

The capacities of the participating countries, which cope with growing numbers of migrants, were discussed during the conference.

This conference is a continuation of a project that started in 2013 and progressed through working meetings, study visits and seminars in Budapest and Belgrade. The main objective is to raise the level of Serbian asylum system and approaching EU standards.
