Delegation of the Kingdom of Belgium, led by Theo Franken, Secretary of State for Asylum, Migration and Administrative Reform, visited the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia.

The aim of the visit was to inform the Belgian delegation with the system and current situation in the field of asylum in the Republic of Serbia, as well as the measures undertaken by the Republic of Serbia in the field of reintegration of returnees under the readmission agreement and the prevention of secondary migration.

The meeting was opened by Vladimir Cucić, Commissioner for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia, after which the guests were informed about the mandate and activities of the Commissariat in these fields.

After the visit to the Commissariat, the delegation of the Kingdom of Belgium visited the center for accommodation of asylum seekers in Krnjaca.
