In the municipality of Pecinci on 17 May 2016 began the distribution of working machines and craft tools within the competition for economic empowerment of refugee families, conducted by the local government of Pećinci. For the realization of this competition means in the amount of two million dinars were provided by the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and the municipality of Pećinci.
Radmila Saric, municipal trustee for refugees and migration, handed over to the family of Mr. Dusko Nenadic from Šimanovci universal elevator for corn and hay and fertilizer with the addition of the row fertilization. The Nenadića live in Simanovci since 2000, where they moved from Croatia. Mr. Nenadic said that this equipment will considerably facilitate agricultural work.
"We cultivate about 20 hectares of our own, as well as leased land, we grow cattle and pigs and this way we sustain ourselves. The machines we received today will mean a lot to us, because we have had to borrow them from a friend", said Dusko.

Otherwise, the Mayor of Pećinci, Ms. Dubravka Kovačević Subotički signed on 13 May 2016 contracts with the beneficiaries who participated in the competition for the award of assistance for the economic empowerment of refugees in the municipality of Pećinci and who have fulfilled the necessary conditions.
"The Municipality of Pećinci will continue to participate in the implementation of the competition in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, to provide refugees from our territory better conditions for integration into the local community", said Mayor of Pećinci.
At this year’s competition for strengthening the income generating activities, beneficiaries were mostly interested in assistance for the provision of agricultural and craft machines and tools.
