Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, in cooperation with implement partners and donors, from the beginning of migrant crisis and founding of the Reception-transit center in Presevo in July 2015, provided three meals and snacks for each migrant in this center.

On this occasion Commissariat expresses gratitude to all the implement partners and donors who help to provide food for migrants.

It remains unclear in whose name representative of the Red Cross in Presevo speaks when he says that "last month only soups and warm teas have been provided”, because representatives of the state and the international community are constantly present in Presevo, making sure that there is enough food for migrants. Moreover, nobody was left foodless even in the moments when more than 10,000 migrants were passing through the center in Presevo during 24 hours.
Food for migrants is currently being provided by the following organizations: Life Aid Vranje, in cooperation with organizations Caritas and SOS Children’s villages Serbia, Philanthropy. Cooked food is being served for lunch, and migrants are served fruit snacks every day.

Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, in cooperation with other state institutions and donors, will not allow at any cost the interruption of the food supply.
