Ministers Aleksandar Vulin, Nebojša Stefanović and Zoran Djordjevic and Commissioner for Refugees Vladimir Cucić today visited the Reception center for migrants in Obrenovac and familiarized that migrants are provided with all the necessary help and that migrants are satisfied with the conditions in which they reside. Head of the UNHCR in Serbia Mr. Hans Friedrich Schodder and Obrenovac Mayor Mr. Miroslav Čučković also were members of the delegation.

Minister for Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin said that Serbia has enough room for all migrants, stressing that Serbia is serious country which fulfilled the promise to provide 6,000 beds for migrants.

Interior Minister Nebojša Stefanović said that the joint forces of the Army and Serbian police in the last six months prevented more than 20,000 people to illegally enter Serbia.

He stressed that no system can absolutely stop the migration, but that part of these people can return to neighboring countries, saying that such a system in Serbia is functioning well with Bulgaria whilst with Macedonia is about to be established.

Defense Minister Zoran Djordjevic said that the influx of migrants in these moments is small, due to weather conditions, but that in the future it is expected to be higher, adding that the army is ready to prevent anyone illegally trying to enter into the country.

Head of UNHCR in Serbia Hans Friedrich Schodder said that about 90 percent of all migrants in Serbia are in reception centers where they are enabled "to overpass the winter with dignity".

He said that the problem with migrants can be solved with the setting-up of an efficient, functional and solidary European system across the continent in which Serbia would be included.
