Japanese Prime Minister’s Spouse In a Visit to the Children In Krnjaca Asylum Center

Akie Abe, the spouse of Japanese Prime Minister, visited the Asylum center in Krnjaca where she taught migrant children how to make traditional Japanese origami.

Prior to spending the time with migrant children, Ms. Abe engaged in a half an hour conversation with the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Zoran Djordjevic and Commissioner for Refugees and Migration Vladimir Cucic who welcomed her to the asylum center.

Migrant schoolers engaged happily in creating origami and demonstrated excellent knowledge of both English and Serbian.
