In the municipality of Alibunar, 13 refugees families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, who reside in the territory of the municipality of Alibunar, signed small grant agreements in order to receive aid (building material and equipment) for the purchased village houses, within the fifth subproject of the Regional Housing Programme (RHP).
Beside the Deputy President of the Municipality of Alibunar, Boško Tijanic as the host of the event, the President of the SO Alibunar Siniša Gavrančić, the County Coordinator for South Banat Ljiljana Rakić, the Trustee for Refugees Jovan Tomić and the representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration were also present at the ceremony of awarding the small grant agreements.
On behalf of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, Ljiljana Rakić addressed the beneficiaries and emphasized the excellent cooperation with the Municipality of Alibunar in implementing the Regional Housing Program. She highlighted the support of the RHP donors, the European Union as the largest donor in the first place, and congratulated the beneficiaries on their new households. Boško Tijanić thanked them for their patience and wished them a happy life in the new homes. On behalf of the beneficiaries, Snezana Milosevic thanked the municipality, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and the donors.
