Migrants in all centers celebrated Ramadan Bayram

Migrants accommodated in 13 reception and five asylum centers throughout the Republic of Serbia celebrated Ramadan Bayram.

Families from Afghanistan accommodated in the Reception center in Divljani celebrated Ramadan Bajram as it fits one of the biggest and most important Muslim religious holidays.

Commissariat for Refugees and Migration in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) organized a festive lunch and distributed  gifts to families to whom Divljana has been a temporary home for months.

Children were among the happiest, cheering and dancing with the sound of Avghani music.

The celebration was attended by the representatives of the Municipality of Bela Palanka and various non-governmental organizations that cooperate with the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and help migrants spend quality time in the centres during their prolongated stay.

Sheriff Yusufi  has been living in Divljana for a year and a half and she is grateful to everyone who enabled her family to respect the religious fasting and mark this very important holiday in a proper manner.
