Eleven migrant children from the reception centers in Sid participated in a circus performance organized by the Swiss circus group Lolipop. For five days, members of this group worked with children to master the skills of juggling, acrobatics, trapeze acts, fakir performances and magician tricks.

The citizens of Sid were able to enjoy a true circus show in which the total of 43 children took part. The Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and SOS Children’s Villages enabled the transportation for the children from the reception centers.

For the show itself, they also transported parents so that they can watch their little ones perform magnificent circus acts. 

Thе event was organized by IDC in cooperation with the Municipality of Sid and the Development Center of Srem. Circus group Lolipop from Switzerland is active in the domain of inclusion and empowerment of children through circus skills. Every year it visits one Eastern European country for this purpose.
