In the premises of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Regional Coordination Forum (RcF) was held, attended by the representatives of the Council of Europe Development Bank, the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia, the US Embassy, UNHCR and OSCE, the Project Implementation Unit in the Public Sector, the RHP Technical Assistance, as well as by the representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration.

The meeting was held with the aim to inform all relevant stakeholders of the progress in implementing all components within the Regional Housing Programme in order to best prepare for the Regional Coordination Forum scheduled for 4 October 2018 in Sarajevo.

The Commissioner for Refugees and Migration, Vladimir Cucic, shared the details of the status of delivery and installation of building materials, the construction of apartments and prefabricated houses, the purchase of village houses, and the launching of a public call within the new component – purchasing of the apartments. Certain obstacles in the implementation of the RHP, as well as the ways to overcome them were also discussed.

The next meeting is planned to be held before the Donors Assembly in November 2018.
