Four employees of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia are participating in the first Training of Civilians for Multinational Operations. The two-week course started on November 26, 2018 in Belgrade’s Peacekeeping Operations Center and will go on in Kraljevo and the “Jug” Military base in Bujanovac. The aim of the training is to establish national capacities for the participation of civilian structures of the Republic of Serbia in peace missions of the UN, the EU and the OSCE. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin, Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic, Chief of General Staff of the Army of Serbia, Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilovic, the OSCE Ambassador to Serbia, Andrea Orizio, and many others took part in the ceremony on the occasion of the beginning of the training.
Twenty civil servants and experts from various state institutions such as Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of European Integration and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration are undergoing the training in the organization of the Directorate for European Integration and Project Management of the Ministry of Defense and the Center for Peacekeeping Operations.
