Thirty-seven-year-old Ahmad Bevar from Iraq, accommodate at the Reception Center in Sombor with his family, found a wallet with documents, money and credit cards, which was immediately returned to the owner with the assisstance of the representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration.
Goran Boskic from the Sombor Reception Center was not at all surprised by Ahmad’s gestre, as he is witnessing in his daily contact with migrants how much they appreciate the hospitality of our country.
A citizen from Sombor, whose wallet was found yesterday, brought bags of sweets, juices, food and gifts for the migrants in the Center and personally thanked the honest finder.
Ahmad also expressed gratitude to Serbia, the City of Sombor and the Commissariat for everything that has been done for his family while in Serbia.
His 7-year-old daughter, Melek, is an outstanding student and she’s also a winner of a drawing competition held on the occasion of World Children’s Day. They hope to continue with their lives in Belgium. Until then, Ahmad is teaching his children to be good and honest people by giving them a decent example.
