A meeting with the Director General of the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) Michael Spindelegger was held at the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration. Commissioner Vladimir Cucic and Deputy Commissioner Svetlana Velimirovic discussed important issues in the field of migration policies with the ICMPD Director General.

Michael Spindelegger presented the Center’s plans for opening a regional office in Belgrade, planned for April this year.

At the meeting, both parties confirmed mutual determination to improve the cooperation of the Center and the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia in order to strengthen the capacities for adoption and implementation of policies in the domain of migration management.
