Commissariat for Refugees and Migration organized Migration Open House under the EU Support to Migration Management in Serbia, in the premises of the Reception Center in Obrenovac.

Introductory remarks were given by Commissioner Cucic, Brigitte Kuchar, Representative of EUD in Serbia and Lidija Markovic, Director of IOM Serbia.

Deputy Commissioner Svetlana Velimirovic, Jelena Surlan and Dajena Ristic presented the stock of work of the Commissariat thus far, while addressing the challenges and introduced the strategic plan in the domain of migration management until 2021.

IOM-SCRM team presented an overview and key functions of the SMART Software for Monitoring and Maintenance in the Reception and Asylum Centers.

Representatives of the diplomatic core, international organizations, non-governmental sector and other partners and guests were taken to an on-site visit of the Center by Commissioner Cucic and Coordinator of RC Obrenovac Sava Rakic.
